Surrealism: Under The Sea

In my surreal picture I had to put a stairway in it, so I did i put the starway going from the bottom of the sea to the top of the sky. I also put birds, fishes, and a starfish in my picture. The birds and the fish show that I changed the laws of physics. I made the birds swim in the ocean and the birds fly in the sky. On the staircase there is also a star fish to help show that I swithced things around.

Surreal Practice Tutorials

The different things we did in the Desert tutorial to make it more realistic where, changing the color, putting a shadow on the light post, putting in some real clouds, making the sky look more realistic, and making the light pole look like it is coming out of the ground instead of just putting it there on top.

By doing both of these tutorials I have learned new things in photoshop that i did not know how to do. Now that i have learned these new things I will be able to use this information and knowledge when i work on my surreal work.

Art Show "Inside Of Me Quilt"

The art work that I chose to show at this years art show was one that means a lot to me. It is one of my favorite because it shows how I am inside and it expresses my present. The quilt that we made in class was to show with pictures and symbols how we see ourselves inside.
Inside this quilt I put my daughter, girlfriend, and me. I put her in the center because she is a big part of my life. I put myself on top of her watching down on her because she is my responsibility, and I will always watch over her.

Senior Invitation

After looking at other students work and designs i believe the strength of my design is the small Pegasus on the corners of the front page. I think I could of made my design brighter and more colorful, to make it better. I struggled most with figuring out what to put on it, I did not want to put so much on it and make it look to crowded, and then not put enough and make it look empty. I believe I did better on the the senior invitation because I had more time to work on it, and worked hard on it.
